Meet Tarah Marie Wolf
Owner of Legacy Academy Acworth | Veteran | Educator | Proud Mom
Tarah Marie Wolf is a passionate educator, proud veteran, and devoted mother of two energetic boys, Layton and Tristan—her greatest inspirations behind the creation of Legacy Academy. Originally from a small farming community in southwest Minnesota, Tarah’s love for nature, sports, and active family life has shaped her dynamic approach to early childhood education.
Tarah earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Biology from Hamline University in Saint Paul, where she excelled as a collegiate athlete in both tennis and hockey. Her professional journey began at Target Headquarters, launching a successful corporate career before answering a higher call to serve her country.
After earning her master’s degree in business management in 2005, Tarah relocated to Georgia for military training and went on to serve with distinction in the Army National Guard for 20 years. Upon retiring, she turned her lifelong passion for child development into reality by building Legacy Academy Acworth—a nurturing space dedicated to shaping young minds and building strong foundations for the future.
A firm believer in lifelong learning, Tarah has completed extensive graduate-level coursework in Early Childhood Education and encourages her staff to do the same. Her commitment to excellence, adventurous spirit, and heart for service continue to drive her mission to uplift families and empower children through education.
Whether she’s hiking trails, playing sports with her boys, or leading with purpose at Legacy Academy, Tarah lives each day with passion, integrity, and a deep desire to make a difference.
